ReplyDeleteWhen Tony has to live with his uncle he meets his uncle's dog Gabe. When things happen, Gabe is there for Tony. I like the book because it is in poetry form but is a real story. I think others should read it is a GREAT book.

****Great when Tony had to stay with uncle beacause his mother got dogs and trained them to do bad thing and sell them to other people .it was awesome to meet gabe at the middle of the story and one that didn't have to bite or hurt him as bad like the other dogs.it was kind of sad because when he meet his mother in prison and have pincis and other stuff that makes him happy but then he wiil get a call and his mother is doing bad things again .this book is really good and you should read it

****Great I thought it was sad that Zane was abandoned as a baby. When I found out it was a poem book I just thought that I wouldn't like it but I did and it was amazing! When the hurricane struck and Zane and Bandit were fighting through it, it almost made me feel like I was in it sense I had gone through hurricane Ike as a baby with all of my family.

ReplyDeleteI liked how it started off with a little about his mom even when she is in jail. I liked Gabe the dog a lot because of its nature. Tio was a great character as well he is calm and collected in almost any situation. I would recommend that you read this book if you like dogs and scenic areas (because this book gives you good mental images).

ReplyDelete********great i love this book because when his mother died he had to go to foster care and when he did some one picked him up he was a nice person they went to this cabin and when he was a sleep he cooked breakfest and he smelled that smell come from the upstairs so he got dressed and got down stairs he ate breakfest and then they took gabe on a walk they went on a hike then up the mountain then they went back home and took a nape because the long hike they went on then after that they ate dinner after the counsolar told him she dosen,t take no for a anser she takes yes you should read this book !!!!!!!!!!!!!
*****amazing!! I loved this book it was so easy to read because f the way the words were typed. I loved the part were the lost dog finds Tony and Gabe finds them. I also liked the part were they said the lost dog would be fine. I definitely would recommend this book.

ReplyDeleteI love this book so much. I think this book is great because there is a great bounding between tony the boy in the book and gade the mountain dog in the book. My favorite part inthe book is when tony gets Luz for a suprise. I wish they make a book 2 because i want to see how the wedding goes on with b.b and toi.After all this book was a AMAZING book.

ReplyDeletethis book was a very good book for kids and for people that love the mountains and I would let many kids watch it and of course read and when the dog turns sort of in to a help dog or like a service dog for people and is helping but in the mountains .
***Alrightwell the book is good but at first i got a little bored of the book but each chapter got better each time.I liked that it was a choclate lab because i like some tipes of dogs like small and big dogs.I sometimes think that having a human name for a dog is kinda weird but i like that name.I felt sorry for tony that he had to move to a new school and with his uncle.

I am so happy that I read this book! And I loved how it looked like a poem! And the story line is very good. I recomined this book!
