  1. ***Good. This book gives us a good overview of the years that made up the Dust Bowl in the US. Can you imagine living like that with dust everywhere....even in your food?

*** good. I wonder how it would feel in that problem at that time . I like how at the end of the book it had two pictures of the dust over the city. I would like to experience how it would be like to have dirt in your food and have to clean dirt off your cloths and tables. All in all this wasn't a bad book.

It was an interesting book but i wasn't very hooked. I enjoyed how descriptive it was. I agree with Mrs.McClain, that would be horrible and I would be SO grossed out. The pictures were good but i do not enjoy reading picture books anymore.

  10. ***Good! I want to know if this story is real or Historicl Ficton, because if it is, maybe there are going to be more dust storms. How did any animals survive after the dust storms, to me it would be clear that they all died. Well it was a good book but i couldn't get the setting right and im asuming they were in the desert, maybe i just didn't read everything, because my pages were sticking.

  37. ***GOOD
OK so it is sad because the people that work never have a break or free time so means they don't get to their family so much and i bet more then half of the boys in my class would die without any free time.Any way i don't like the part when dirt tornado thing was destroying a lot of homes which was sad for a lot of family . Even though it was a picture book it was still heart breaking for some people especially for me.
